Heavy TRAFFIC Band

The Heavy Traffic Band was formed by like-minded journeymen musicians to celebrate the timeless music of Stevie Winwood and his iconic band Traffic.
The band explores classic material from the Traffic catalog as well as songs from the Spencer Davis Group, Blind Faith, and Winwood's solo career. His songs are performed faithfully by seasoned musicians with an original twist.
The band features east end Long Island musicians Dan Koontz, Joe Lauro, Fred Gilde, Alex Sarkis, and Julie Bluestone, alongside guitarist and vocalist Chris Wiedemann.
